Casa Grande is complete with Six bedrooms, each with bathrooms en suite. It is available to be booked by room or as the entire estate. 

The Pink Room

Painted in “Pombal” Pink this classic room features two antique double beds, elegant wood carved furniture, a large armoire and tall French windows leading onto a spacious south-facing private balcony overlooking the front garden.  The tiled bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub and shower option.  This room is often used as our honeymoon suite, and is perfect for 2 guests and includes breakfast.

The Blue Room

Decorated in imperial blue this suite features a private master bedroom with its own entrance, a large bed, a Chez Lounge under the window perfect for relaxing and reading and exquisite ceiling moldings of cherubs and roses. The room opens on to a larger bedroom featuring two queen beds and tall French windows leading onto a private south-facing balcony.  The tiled bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower option. With the private master bedroom this room is perfect for a couple, friends traveling together or a family, as it is suitable for 4-5 people and includes breakfast.

The Green Suite

Painted in a pastel green in homage to the green of the Portuguese Flag; a feature on the national flag that represents ‘hope of the nation.’ This suite has two bedrooms with a dividing door. The main room has two large single beds, a tall armoire and an antique wood and marble dresser. The second room has two single beds and large French doors that open onto a north-facing balcony that overlooks the private courtyard and rolling hills. The bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub and shower option. This room is perfect for a family traveling together, as it can hold 4 people, and includes breakfast.

The Yellow Suite

Painted in a calming royal yellow, this suite has two bedrooms with a dividing door. The bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub and shower option. This room is perfect for a family traveling together, as it can hold 4 people and includes breakfast.

The Mauve Room

Decorated in mauve this bright and airy room features two queen beds, a tall armoire, a work desk and ensuite bathroom including shower and a small tub.  The large windows open onto the front courtyard looking onto the rare one hundred year old Dracaena Dragon Tree.  This room is conveniently located on the Guesthouses’ lower floor, down the hall from the dining and sitting room.  This room is ideal for a couple traveling together (it can hold 2 people), is wheelchair accessible and includes breakfast.

The Turquoise Room

With sea turquoise walls this cozy room is great for a single traveler or a couple of friends traveling together. The room features two single beds, a tall armoire, a work desk and ensuite bathroom including a large bathtub and optional shower. The large windows open directly onto the rare One Hundred year old Dracaena Dragon Tree. This room is conveniently located on the guesthouses lower floor, down the hall from the dining and sitting room. This room is wheelchair accessible, and is suitable for 2 people, and includes breakfast.

Casa Pequena

On the grounds of Casa Grande to the rear of the house there is a charmingly converted rustic barn that sleeps six. There are two private bedrooms each with two single beds and a master loft mezzanine with a large king sized bed. This cottage has its own kitchen and bathroom with shower and tub. This is ideal for a family looking for a private cottage to enjoy their vacation, as it can hold 6-7 people.
